A Letter from our Camp Host​ Charlotte

 

 

​Hey Campers and Neighbors! 👋

 

I am so excited to be your camp host and wanted to take a minute to tell y’all a bit about me.

 

I grew up in the country. My recent move was based on my love for the outdoors and wildlife. Being outdoors has been a huge part of my life and will continue through my journey, thanks to being at Big Tex Campgrounds. I hope to generate the same love of nature in all of the guest’s stays here, whether it be short or long-term.

 

I have two adult children and two tiny grand-girls that rule the roost. In my downtime, I enjoy soaking up every minute, spoiling my grandbabies, and cooking up some good meals. I have four furbaby pups, all of which are spoiled rotten.

 

I owned and operated a salon for the past 20+ years and found, along with my passion for making people feel good about themselves, that I also loved the hospitality side of things. I wanted my clients to feel at home in my salon, as well as loved and cared for, and I anticipate bringing that same passion into our beautiful campground here. During the week you’ll find me in the front office, outside in nature, or puttinG around on the golf cart.

 

Aside from my love of people, I am also a huge animal lover. My passion for years was saving and placing dogs within fur’ever homes.

 

I want to assure you that I will continue bringing the same love, energy, and passion for watching Big Tex Campgrounds grow as Josh and Kaylee have. I can’t speak for everyone, but this place has been an absolute beautiful blessing to me. I am at peace here and love being surrounded by all the beauty Big Tex Campgrounds has to offer. Be sure to swing in and say hi to me at the office soon! I can’t wait to meet everyone and I am SO EXCITED to be hosting you guys!
